Pavement Laboratory
Introduction:
The Pavement Laboratory, supervised by Professor Hami at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Tehran, has been operational since 1995 (1374 in the Iranian calendar). Over the past four years, the laboratory’s space has been expanded, and its equipment has been upgraded and modernized. Currently, the laboratory is capable of characterizing the physical and mechanical properties of bitumen, asphalt mixtures, and concrete pavement mixtures using a combination of classical and advanced testing methods.
The services provided include quality control and mix design for asphalt and concrete pavements. The laboratory also actively welcomes research projects and collaborations.
