In line with policies to guide and support outstanding students and to facilitate their admission to Master’s and PhD programs, based on the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology’s Council for Guiding Talented Students, the University of Tehran invites graduates and final-semester students who fully meet the announced conditions to apply for admission to the attached list of disciplines, host professors, project titles, and educational levels (Master’s and PhD) under the supervisor-based admission method for the academic year 1404-1405 (2025-2026).

Applicants who meet the conditions (according to the guidelines) must register and upload their information on the University of Tehran’s comprehensive educational system at ems2.ut.ac.ir, under the section: Doctoral / Master’s Supervisor-Based Talented Students Admission.

Registration Deadline: From 11/04/1404 to 31/04/1404 (July 2, 2025 to July 22, 2025)

Important Notes:

• The requested field of study must be related to the applicant’s previous degree, according to the National Organization for Educational Testing and Evaluation guidelines.

• All applicants must register online. Documents of applicants who fail to register within the deadline will not be reviewed under any circumstances.

• All research documents—including scientific articles, participation in domestic and international conferences, certificates, recommendation letters, valid general language test scores, etc.—must be uploaded electronically in the system during the registration period as per the guidelines. Documents not uploaded will receive no credit.

• Changing the field of study, place of study, or project title after acceptance is not allowed.

• Final acceptance is subject to approval by the National Organization for Educational Testing and Evaluation.

• Applicants should save their username and password created during registration to complete the process and check results.

• In the registration system, the "exam group" refers to the name of the faculty or college.

• Multiple university codes and provinces can be selected without issue; choosing the first code will not cause problems.

• Do not upload screenshots of your monitor as transcripts or any unclear documents; these will be considered invalid and ignored.

• Avoid paying fees more than once or registering for different fields/faculties for any reason.

• The registration deadline will not be extended.
